Years back my mom bought a Cricut. I’m sure it was an impulse buy since she had never mentioned it, but she was retired so I figured she wanted a new hobby. I was raised sewing, knitting, crocheting, and learned all the basics from my mom as a child so the fact that she was trying something new in the crafting world wasn’t all that shocking.
A year had gone by and the Cricut was still in the box. Her response when I asked about it was “you’re better with computers so take it home, figure it out, and then you can do stuff for me”. I told her no. I didn’t have time for it and knew I would never use it but somehow ended up taking it home anyway. I figured out how to make the decal I wanted for a coffee mug and thought that was it. Maybe I’d mess with it every now and then? Boy, was I wrong! LOL
I recently upgraded from my “Mom’s” Cricut Explore 2 to the new Cricut Maker 4. I also upgraded my Easy Press to the Autopress and added a Mug Press and sublimation printer to the mix. In addition to working with my Cricut, I still sew and will eventually have purses and tote bags listed for purchase as well in any pattern you like. I have everything set up in my craft room just like I want and can spend hours there getting lost in projects.
My hope is that by launching a store on Etsy I can share my love of design and creativity with you. Although I didn’t major in graphic design, I’ve often been told by others I’ve done projects for that I may have missed my calling. I look forward to receiving custom requests and am excited about the challenge of taking other people’s ideas and turning them into something wonderful. I can recreate or sell anything in my store that’s listed but am open to designing whatever your heat desires.
My craft room is all about me and what I love. I’m excited to share this part of me with you and look forward to this new adventure!
